MACC submits 'graft in GLC' probe papers to AG

today reported that the MACC is expected to arrest and charge a senior official soon on grounds of alleged corruption and misappropriation.
It is being speculated that the GLC involved is plantations giant Sime Darby Bhd, although its chairman Musa Hitam (right) has dismissed the allegation.
"These are just rumours," he reportedly said, adding that he wants to read the contents of the report before commenting on the matter.
The Malay-language daily, quoting a source, reported that several GLC staff will be arrested and charged.
Its weekend edition Mingguan Malaysia had reported that a GLC had been "cheated" of RM100 million in a land development project.
