Several areas in Jempol, Tampin and Seremban will face water disruption tomorrow following works to remove and install water pipes, booster pumps and pressure control valves.

Head of corporate services for Syarikat Air Negri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (Sains), Azlan Abdul Aziz, said the disruption of water supply will be from 8am till 7am the next day (July 18) in Jempol affecting Palong 2 to Palong 16, whereas in Tampin it will affect Palong 1, Felda Pasir Besar, Taman Pasir Besar, Pekan Pasir Besar, Kampung Pasir Besar, palm oil factories and staff quarters in Pasir Besar.

“Meanwhile, water supply disruption from 8pm to 6am the next day (July 18) in Seremban will affect the whole of Seremban town, Rasah, Mambau, Rahang, Templer, Temiang and Lobak,” he said in Seremban today.

He said water supply will resume after the times mentioned and is expected to return to normal in stages, warning, however, that several places in higher altitudes could expect a longer time for the supply to return to normal.

Azlan said the works being carried out were part of an effort by the company to improve on and increase the quality of water supplied for the benefit of consumers in the future.
