EC chairperson Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof (

"Through the book that we had published before, we were appreciated because the public could understand the issues. Not many understand the issues at hand because they have been twisted by several parties," he told reporters after breaking fast in Putrajaya today.
The EC had earlier published a book titled 'The Actual Facts Behind The Allegation And Libel Against EC' in April and printed 5,000 copies for distribution.
Abdul Aziz said among issues included in the current book are the existence of more than three million non residential voters, 42,000 voters who had not renewed their MyKad but still in the electoral roll and information which were not consistent with voters and their identity card.
He said the book also contained information on the addresses of voters which were incomplete, voters with the same names and often the same dates of birth and many voters holding the identity card number 71, many voters who were 85 years and above and too many postal voters.
Abdul Aziz urged all quarters to refer to the EC first, if they came across issues which were doubtful or questionable.
He also handed contributions to 45 orphans from Rumah Penyayang Bistari, Sungai Buaya, Banting and Rumah Anak Yatim Baiduri, Dengkil.
