A group of Kadazandusuns is said to be forming a new political movement that may align itself with Pakatan Rakyat, sources in Kota Kinabalu said today.

To be known as the Sabah Reform Front (SRF), its establishment is expected to be formally announced in Dalit, Tuaran on Sunday.

NONE The sources also said that PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim may attend a special gathering in Tuaran on Sunday afternoon.

Anwar is also expected to attend another function in Beaufort.

Pakatan Rakyat insiders have cited both Tuaran and Beaufort as areas where they would like to draw support.

Some political analysts believe that some seats may fall to the opposition in the upcoming general election in this key state.

Muhyiddin to visit Sabah, too

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will also be visiting Sabah this Saturday as polls near.

He will start his visit with a walkabout at the Indah Permai Bazaar in Sepanggar near here shortly after his arrival at Terminal 2, Kota Kinabalu International Airport.

It said the deputy prime minister would also present tithes to elderly people, single mothers and Muslim converts, house keys to new house owners of the People's Housing Project, and a RM70,000 donation from several corporate figures to the mosque.

The deputy prime minister will also deliver 'zam-zam' water and dates for all mosques in the state on behalf of Prime Minister Najib Razak before returning to Kuala Lumpur, said the statement.
