Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) has advised users with overdue water bills in the Klang Valley and Selangor to pay their outstanding bills immediately before action is taken.

Syabas, in a statement today, said that the outstanding bill operation which started on Wednesday involved areas in Hulu Langat, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Petaling, Sepang and Sabak Bernam.

Syabas said water supply disconnection to users with overdue water bills would be carried out and consumers would be charged RM25 each for cutting and reinstallation.

Payment could be made at the Syabas regional office counters and authorised agencies namely Bank Simpanan Nasional Bhd, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd, Tenaga Nasional Bhd, Kuala Lumpur City Hall and Telekom Malaysia Bhd.
