Selangor BN deputy chief Noh Omar has rapped Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim for blaming others in relation to various issues in the state, including on matters involving Universiti Selangor (Unisel).

He said Abdul Khalid shouldn't have blamed the BN government as the university's management had never encountered any problems during BN's administration in the state.

"The Selangor government should've blamed itself for failing to pay their debt to Jana Niaga Sdn Bhd (JNSB).

"They should be more responsible, but instead they spent the people's money to pay for the legal cost involving Seri Muda assemblyman, Shuhaimi Shafiei, and Selangor PKR strategic director," he told reporters after attending "Maal Kacau Dodol' programme in Kuala Selangor today.

Noh also rapped the menteri besar for the latter's statement that 44 Unisel hostels built by JNSB did not have the certificate of fitness (CF), saying that it was indeed an irresponsible act.

"I have information that the hostels have received the CF unless the menteri besar can prove otherwise," he chided.

He also urged Abdul Khalid to make public the Unisel financial audit report without having to wait until the end of month to do so as the report was ready and had been endorsed by both the menteri besar and the state's financial advisor.

Agro bazaar

In another development, Noh, who is also agriculture and agro-based industry minister, said the Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (Fama) Agro bazaar project, which was implemented with the concept of rest and service (R&R) area, was expected to be fully completed and operational by April next year.

He said the RM2.8 million project implemented on a 1.12-hectare site in Batu 2 in Tanjong Karang would house 20 booths for the sales of agro products.

"The Agro bazaar will be the biggest in Malaysia as compared to the existing ones in Ulu Bernam, Melaka and Tapah R&R areas along the North-South Expressway.

"It is also expected to become a popular destination along Jalan Bernam to Teluk Intan, Perak, especially during the festive season," he said.
