The Kelana Jaya line of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) was disrupted for one and half hours today when one of the doors of a train could not close completely.

Prasarana Negara Berhad head of communications and marketing Masnizam Hisham said the incident occurred when the train stopped at the Kampung Baru station at 8am.

"This prompted the LRT driver to close the door manually causing the services along the Kelana Jaya line to move slowly," she said when contacted today.

As a result, thousands of commuters in the Klang Valley arrived late for work.

The services were restored at 9.38 am, said Masnizam.
