Noh, who is also Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister, said this was because the people of Selangor had wised up to the empty promises by the PKR-led Selangor government.
He told this to reporters when met at the Selangor BN Wanita's Merdekaraya celebration at the Finas Building in Kuala Lumpur, today.
Prior to this, the Selangor government had said it would not hold simultaneous elections because the electoral roll "had not been cleaned up".
The BN lost Selangor to the opposition in the last general election in 2008 after having been in power in the state since independence.
