Airport lounge service provider, Plaza Premium Lounge today launched its latest RM3.8 million lounge for all passengers at the KL International Airport (KLIA).

This is the 91st lounge under its management involving 22 international airports across nine countries.

Its founder and chief executive officer, Song Hoi See said the lounge, featuring a fourth generation concept, offers both business class passengers and leisure travellers a new standard in airport services.

“This Plaza Premium Lounge is designed not only for first-clsss passengers but also for the public to meet their needs before embarking on the plane.  

“The waiting lounge is equipped with various facilities of five-star standard such as comfortable sofa, marble flooring, special room and a selection of food offerings, and is available every day 24 hours a day,” he said at the launch of Plaza Premium Lounge in Sepang today.

Also present was Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd managing director Bashir Ahmad Abd Majid.

Song said the lounge was designed by an interior designer from Hong Kong, Kinney Chan, based on the design of the lounge at Hong Kong International Airport.   

According to him, Plaza Premium plans to open two more lounges, one each at the international airports in Penang and Kota Kinabalu.

He said it is also planning to introduce membership card especially for passengers from Malaysia and Singapore to enable them to enjoy all the facilities available at the lounge.

“We also have operations in several countries in Asia such as India, Middle East, North America as well as Africa, and at the same time, are planning to spread our wings to Hyderabad, India and Europe in the first quarter of next year,” he said.
