A man claimed that a male medical assistant, posing as a doctor, attempted to perform fellatio (oral sex) on him at a private clinic here yesterday.

medical doctors The 24-year-old private company staff had sought treatment for chest pains when the 'indecent proposal' was allegedly made at 4.45pm.

Shocked at the medical assistant's behaviour, the man slapped him and proceeded to lodge a police report.

However, the medical assistant pleaded with the man not to make the report and instead, offered a Blackberry cellphone as 'compensation'.

The patient took the cellphone and more than four hours later, lodged a report over the incident at the Dungun police station.

Dungun police chief Supt Dahlan Mohd Noor confirmed the incident.
