More briefings should be made on the 2013 Budget because many people in Kelantan are not aware of the numerous benefits provided by the government for them, said International Trade and Industry minister Mustapa Mohamed.

NONE He said many people were still unaware of the benefits of the Budget despite it being highlighted by newspapers and other media.

"If not told, they will not be grateful of the benefits they receive," he said after meeting heads of federal government departments and agencies in Kota Baharu today.

Mustapa said, several parties including the Information, Communications and Culture ministry needed to brief the public down to the grassroot level to ensure they understood the 2013 Budget tabled by the Prime Minister on Sept 28.

Mustapa, who is also Kelantan Federal Development Action Council chairman, said the parties concerned also needed to explain to the people about the budget tabled by the opposition which would cause many problems to the country if

implemented.
