The next logical progression would be the introduction of hudud as prescribed by Islam. We cannot rule out that Umno may do so.

Hence we should not think that only PAS will introduce hudud. It is possible Umno, too, will put hudud on their agenda.

If you are not sure of their party, let me remind you that both of them are not from PAS but are from Umno.

If Muslims do not want to drink or go to betting shops, then just don't go there. Let the non-Muslims be. Non-Muslims don't believe that it is up to men (and women) to punish others on behalf of God. God will do that.

Using these type of scarce tactic does not work anymore in Malaysia with the rakyat more informed and more politically conscious.

Dolphins back in Penang waters

Anonymous #25708689: I sincerely hope this a good indication that the environment is acceptable to dolphins. In the 60s, they used to swim next to or ahead of the ferries, what a sight!

I used to live at Lim Jetty then, the water was teeming with fish and it was a pleasure to go fishing at your own doorstep.

Enuf: False. Dolphins were always spotted off Gurney Drive before the Straights Quay project by E&O. So it's not true dolphins have not been spotted in Penang for 20 years.

Anonymous #99108469: I hope the relevant authorities like Fisheries Department will ensure the dolphins are not snared by fishermen's nets and will not come to any harm by any party.

If a country cannot protect its wildlife or environment, sooner or later they will be heading for disaster as these are interlinked. Please act to protect the dolphins and other animals like turtles, etc.
