The Bandar Tun Razak Wanita Umno received a rude shock today when it found its 'Skuad Sayang' van splashed with red paint and scrawled with profanities.     

Its chief, Zaleha Najmuddin, said they were informed of the matter by a passerby at 11.26am.   

"I'm very disappointed with the people who committed this irresponsible act of sabotage to try and discourage us from serving the community here (Bandar Tun Razak). We will not be discouraged," she told reporters at the Wanita Umno centre in Bandar Tun Razak.     

A report was lodged at the Salak South police station at 2.10pm, she said.

Zaleha said the Wanita Umno at the division had been sabotaged twice previously with red paint splashed on the centre and a cloth banner shredded.   

 

Meanwhile, Cheras police chief ACP Mohan Singh Tara Singh confirmed receiving the report and said the case had been classified as mischief.
