The two Malaysian men held by the authorities in Lebanon over alleged links with the Al-Qaeda terrorist network will know today whether they will be called to enter their defence.

A source at the Malaysian embassy in Beirut said the hearing of their case before Lebanon's Military Tribunal is set for tomorrow.

The duo, Razif Mohamad Ariffin, 28, and Mohamad Razin Shahar Mustapha Kamal, 21, had pleaded not guilty to being involved in terrorism when charged before the tribunal yesterday.

They were detained at a hotel in Beirut on Oct 18, after they were suspected to have been trained as suicide bombers and had links with Al-Qaeda.
