Sungai Selangor rises to 4.70m, surpasses danger level

According to the department’s portal, the water level of Sungai Repoh in Kampung Repoh in Kangar, Perlis and Sungai Padas in Tenom, Sabah, had also exceeded the warning level, as they registered 4.19m and 176.44m respectively.
Meanwhile, the National Security Council stated that the number of flood evacuees in Selangor had dropped to 930 people from 1,040 last night.
In Perak, 36 flood victims from nine families remained at the relief centre in Sekolah Agama Rakyat, Kampung Padang Serai in Manjung, while in Sarawak, five people in a family were still taking shelter at the Suarah Marudi Hall.
