Two expelled, one suspended over Umno sabotage

said the two expelled were Ab Habi Mustapha and Abdul Majid Palah, while Nisfu Palah was suspended for three years from Sept 6, 2012 or one election term. All three were from the Semporna Umno division, Sabah.
They were found guilty of breaching Clause 20.8 of the Umno constitution read together with Article 3 of the Umno members’ code of ethics, he said in a statement in Kuala Lumpur today.
Four other Umno members from the Arau, Padang Besar and Kangar divisions in Perlis were also found guilty and given a warning for disobeying party orders and not carrying out the party policies which breached the provision under Clause 20.8 of the Umno constitution read together with Article 3 of the Umno members’ code of ethics.
The four were Syed Atif Syed Abu Bakar (Arau), Yaacob Man (Padang Besar), Biswardi Mohamad Hasbi (Kangar) and Abdul Halim Abdullah Sunny (Arau).
He said the disciplinary board, however, found that Zahidi Zainul Abidin from the Padang Besar division, Perlis not guilty.
Tengku Ahmad Rithauddeen said the decision was taken by the disciplinary board which met on Sept 6 and Oct 8.
