The Edge Communications Sdn Bhd has appointed Ho Kay Tat as the new group chief executive officer and publisher effective January next year.

ho kay tat Executive chairperson Tong Kooi Ong said Ho ( right ), one of the key people in the build-up of business newspaper The Edge in Malaysia and Singapore, will carry on the company’s ambition of a regional expansion.

In a statement in Kuala Lumpur today, he said Ho will also be playing roles in the recently revamped The Edge Malaysia and recently launched fz.com , a free news website that promotes freedom of expression.
