The no-confidence debate against Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra began in Thai Parliament today.     

Apart from Yingluck, Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung, Defence Minister Sukumpol Suwanatat and Deputy Interior Minister Chatt Kuldilok were also targeted for grilling by the opposition.     

The House has set censure debate for three days, and voting will be held on Wednesday.     

In the censure motion, Opposition Leader Abhisit Vejjajiva claimed Yingluck was inefficient, had failed in national administration and had not fulfilled her promises to parliament and the general public.     

The former premier also accused Yingluck as being incompetent, tolerating discrimination and corruption, trashing the rule of law and evading accountability to Parliament.     

With the government holding majority votes in the House, it will surely survive the censure.
