Police have obtained a court order to remand a 49-year-old man believed to be an executive over their investigation into the case of 105 foreign women allegedly locked up at a maid agency in Bandar Baru Klang.   

The order to remand the man for two days from today was issued by magistrate Suhaimah Mohd Nor.

The man, the 13th suspect in the case, surrendered himself at the Selangor Immigration Department office in Port Klang yesterday.

Last Sunday, Selangor Immigration Department director Amran Ahmad was reported as saying that the foreign women, aged between 18 and 25, were found locked up in a four-storey building of a maid agency in Bandar Baru Klang during a raid by his team the previous day.

The women, comprising 95 Indonesians, six Filipinos and four Cambodians, only social visit passes and are believed to have entered the country between one and six months ago.
