"Their allegations have tarnished Felda's image as an international conglomerate," he said in a statement today.
He said Felda through its lawyers had initiated legal action against Harakah's editor, chief editor, publisher and printer.
The same action was also taken against Suara Keadilan and Parti Keadilan Rakyat which runs the newspaper, and against Mazlan, in whose Facebook account the statement also allegedly appeared.
"The notice was sent to the parties concerned on Dec 10 and Dec 11," Mohd Isa said.
He said Felda had given 14 days to Mazlan and the two newspapers to publish an apology and withdraw their statements as well as pay appropriate compensation to Felda.
