The prime minister's wife, Rosmah Mansor, attended the "Sentuhan Kasih" (Touch of Love) event organised by the Welfare Body of Selangor Barisan Nasional Elected Representatives (Kasih) at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque in Shah Alam today.

Rosmah, who is also the president of Kasih, joined about 200 women in performing the asar prayer and reciting the yasin and tahlil .

Also present were Kasih vice-president Prof Dr Aishah Salleh and its committee members.

At the function, Rosmah also handed out contributions in the form of cash and school items to 42 orphans from the Shah Alam parliamentary constituency, besides donating several telekung (prayer attire) for female members of the congregation at the state mosque.
