Sabah RCI proceedings begin on Monday
Proceedings by the royal commission of inquiry (RCI) on illegal immigrants in Sabah will be held at the Federal Court, Kota Kinabalu Court Complex in Sabah for five days starting Monday.

Commission secretary Saripuddin Kasim, in a statement today, said the next proceedings will be held from Jan 28 to Feb 1 and Feb 22 to 27.
He said the public can visit the commission’s website at www.rcisabah.gov.my for more information.
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak announced on June 1 last year that the government had agreed to set up a commission to tackle the problem of illegal immigrants in Sabah.
Najib said the government was committed to resolving the issue which was capable of threatening the well-being and harmony of the people of Sabah.
