Budget carrier AirAsia will put on sale one million promotional seats this Jan 15-20 where travellers will only have to pay for their airport and fuel charges.

These promotional seats will be offered starting from as low as RM26 one way to domestic destinations and RM52 one way to international destinations.

In a statement, AirAsia said the one million promo seats will be available for booking at their website, www.airasia.com with the travel period starting from Aug 20 this year to Feb 9, 2014.

Domestic destinations include Penang, Langkawi, Kota Baru, and Terengganu, while international destinations include Singapore, Jakarta, Medan, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hat Yai.

AirAsia chief executive officer Aireen Omar said those who have been planning trips or holidays for this year-end and early 2014 will be happy to finally be able to book their flights.

AirAsia X, the long haul low fare affiliate of AirAsia is also offering promotional fares in conjunction with the campaign with all-in-fares from as low as RM249 to China (Chengdu, Hangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai), RM229 to Taiwan (Taipei) and Japan (Osaka, Tokyo).
