Pro-BN blogger pisau.net, who accused Perak DAP chief Ngeh Koo Ham of obtaining land from the Kelantan government in exchange for the menteri besar's post for PAS, has made a correction to his posting.

NONE According to Ngeh ( right ), the blogger's Jan 13 correction cleared him and Pakatan Rakyat of being involved in corrupt practice. Pisau.net then closed the site before moving to another.

In the correction, the blog says that there was no exchange of land among Ngeh, his cousin Nga Kor Ming and Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat to ensure that the Perak menteri besar’s post went to PAS.

Therefore, Ngeh in a statement said the other parties who had defamed him and Pakatan leaders should also follow suit. 

“The admission by the blogger that the article was factually incorrect is evidence that the allegation thrown at myself and my Pakatan Rakyat colleagues were nothing but cheap, irresponsible and repulsive political potshots. This also shows that my name has been cleared,” he said.

“I hereby urge others who have defamed me to step forward and follow what has been done by Pisau.net, to clear my name or Pakatan’s from the various ridiculous, untrue, and slanderous defamations,” he said.

Smoke and mirror game

Ngeh on Dec 24 had rejected claims that the Kelantan government had given him land in exchange for backing a PAS MB for Perak, saying the company had been acquired through the open market.

The land, he said, was acquired through a purchase of the company awarded the 10,526 acres of land by the state government, hence there was no element of corruption involved.

Ngeh, had on Jan 3, was also reported to have initiated legal action against the pro-BN blogger and a Malay language daily which he claims had reported "false news against him and Nga" related to the recent controversy involving them on the Kelantan reforestation project.
