Perak State Assembly speaker R Ganesan has filed a RM25 million suit against five opposition assemblymen for allegedly defaming him in a sex VCD.

NONE The suit, which named assemblypersons V Sivakumar (Tronoh), A Subramaniam (Buntong), Ngeh Koo Ham (Sitiawan), Nga Kor Ming (Pantai Remis) and Lim Pek Har (Menglembu) as defendants, was filed at the High Court registry in Ipoh today.

Meanwhile, Ganesan ( right ) said the suit was filed after the five assemblypersons failed to respond to his letter of demand for them to retract their statements and apologise to him.

He said the letter of demand to the five assemblymen was issued through his lawyer on Jan 15.
