The family of the late Claudia Theophilus, has urged various quarters to stop speculation on the circumstances of her death in Lebanon.

Dora, 36, her sister, who arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (ALIA) this afternoon said in a statement that she had been briefed on the progress of the investigations upon arrival in Beirut.

"I hope there will not be any speculation on the circumstances surrounding my sister's death, as the investigations have not been completed."

She also expressed the family's heartfelt thanks to Malaysian ambassador to Lebanon, Ilango Karuppannan, and his staff in Beirut for their assistance, and support during her stay; and to TV station, Al Jazeera , for the financial help in bringing  Claudia home, and for its kind words and prayers.

Those who wish to pay their last respects to Claudia may attend the wake from Sunday afternoon at the family house.

The funeral will be held on Monday at 10am.

Claudia, 42, who based in Al-Jazeera' s Doha, Qatar office, died at about 2.30 am Lebanon time, while holidaying with her two friends at the Baakleen mountains.
