Opposition jealous of Sabah BN gov't, says Sabah CM
Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman said he did not expect the opposition to be jealous of the BN state government's ability to strengthen its financial position.
Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman said he did not expect the opposition to be jealous of the BN state government's ability to strengthen its financial position.
He said the opposition parties were raring to rule Sabah and the state's strong financial position would give the opposition coalition an advantage if it wins the upcoming 13th general election.
"Our (Sabah's) reserves are more than RM3 billion, the result of the BN government's hard work. Its ability to strengthen the state's financial position has been commended by the Auditor-General.
"They (opposition leaders) are crazy about becoming Sabah chief minister if the opposition wins the upcoming general election although they have failed to administer well the states under their rule," he said at a Kuala Penyu BN Chinese New Year open house today.
Musa, who is also state finance minister, said the people would stand to lose if they tempt fate by voting in a government other than BN.
He hoped the people would not fall for the empty promises made by the opposition and should always remind friends and kin not to make the wrong choice in the upcoming elections.
