Last month, Selayang PKR MP William Leong ( right ) announced that the Selangor government has reached a consensus with TNB, which will see the project taking an alternative route, thus avoiding a village whose residents have long been objecting to the project.

Leong and Rawang PKR state assemblyperson Gan Pei Nei claimed that the alternative route was proposed by TNB during a Selangor Economic Action Council (MTES) meeting on Jan 30.

However, the minutes of the meeting are yet to be published.
