Spanish football giant and four-time Champions League winner, Barcelona has confirmed making their maiden trip to Malaysia on Aug 10.

According to the club’s official website www.fcbarcelona.com , Barcelona will be in Kuala Lumpur after playing in Shanghai (China) on Aug 4 and Bangkok (Thailand) three days later, in their Asian Tour.

FC Barcelona president Sandro Rosell, in a press conference at the club’s headquarters yesterday, however did not reveal the teams that Tito Vilanova’s side would be playing in the Tour.

Rosell only confirmed that the club would be playing three exhibition matches in the Asian region, which is part of Barcelona’s preparation for the 2013/2014 season.

The club that parades World Player of the Year, Lionel Messi, among others,  is currently leading the La Liga with 68 points after 26 matches.
