The widow of a slain police personnel has made an impassioned plea to Sulu intruders to stop the killing of security forces.

Siti Badorah Mahalil, 39, widow of Sergeant , who were among six police officers killed in an ambush in Kampung Simunul, Semporna on Saturday, said: "I plead desperately, enough is enough. I do not want to see any more casualties. It breaks my heart to hear the cries of parents losing their children, wives losing their husbands, and children losing their fathers".

lahad datu 050313 soldiers on truck Speaking to reporters through tears at her house in Semporna today, Siti Bandorah said the intruders put life in the once-peaceful Kampung Tanduo in peril and the sufferings they inflicted showed that they were out to cause chaos in Sabah.

Her eldest child, Mohd Farid Zulhelmy, 18, said despite losing his father, he was proud that he died as a national warrior.

"I believe it is God's will that every martyr's has a place in heaven. As the eldest in the family, I shoulder a big responsibility to look after my mother and my siblings," said the final semester student at the Labuan Matriculation College.

The late Azis, who was from Batu Pahat, Johor leaves behind a widow and four children aged between seven and 18.
