The Kuala Lumpur Hospital has banned its staff from pasting opposition stickers or displaying its flags on their vehicles.

This was confirmed by mediaSelangorku , owned by the Pakatan state government, citing a circular issued by the hospital's director.

HKL director Zainnah Mohd Zain in a March 4 circular had directed all staff not to place opposition party logo or flags on their vehicles.

"All heads of department are required to advise their subordinates to follow the directive and ensure they do not violate this.

"Disciplinary action can be taken on those who violate this directive," Zainnah states in the circular.

MediaSelangorku , said TV Selangor, had contacted the office of the HKL deputy director and his assistant confirmed the directive.

Malaysiakini has also tried to contact Zainnah for confirmation of the directive but  she was said to be at a meeting at that time.
