Malacca deputy speaker dies of colon cancer
The state assemblyperson for Lendu, who was also the deputy speaker of the Malacca state assembly, Idderis Kassim died of colon cancer at the Hospital Putra, Malacca at about 6.50pm today.

Idderis, 66, is survived by his wife Rohani Yunus and two sons Zamran and Zulkarnain.
Zamran, 39, when met by reporters said his father had been admitted to the hospital since Feb 19.
"My late father had been suffering from cancer since 2011 and his condition became critical at about 4.30pm today before the doctors confirmed to family members that he was dead," he said.
He said his late father would be buried at the Ayer Limau Muslim Cemetery at 11am tomorrow.
