Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today showed that he was not all about 'BR1M' and 'transformation plans' but that he is family man as well.

Taking time out from his pre-dissolution preparations, Najib today made a rare "impromptu" appearance - although he tweeted about it earlier - with his family at upmarket The Curve shopping mall in Petaling Jaya.

With him was wife Rosmah Mansor, son Norashman, daughter Nooryana Najwa and her fiancée Daniar Nazarbayev.

According to Bernama , the premier's family ordered assam laksa, siam laksa, aromatic chicken set, Penang hokkien prawn mee, iced Milo, cincau and barley, with fruit rojak for dessert.

Their hour-long lunch drew a crowd who spoke to them and took photographs.

Jumat Kasneh, the waiter who took their order, said he was very excited to serve the prime minister and his family.  

"The prime minister was very friendly with everyone," said Jumat, who has been with the restaurant for 10 years.
