State PKR chief Mansor Othman (

For Parliamentary seats, only Anwar Ibrahim is defending his seat, while three others are contested by newcomers.
In the state line-up, only four incumbents are defending their seats. Two fielded in 2004 are joining the race while 11 others are new faces.
The line-up includes three representatives from PKR Youth and two women.
The party has dropped four incumbents - Yusmadi Yusoff (Balik Pulau), Jason Ong Khan Lee (Kebun bunga), S Raveentharan (Batu Uban) and Tan Hock Leong (Machang Bubuk).
Last night, Tan announced he would be contesting the seat, accusing PKR of “cronyism” in the selection of candidates.
On the Sungai Acheh seat, which saw a tussle between PAS and PKR, candidate Badrul Hisham Shaharin or Chegubard said PAS will not be fielding a candidate.
Yusmadi also declared today that he will not be contesting as an Independent.

‘I thought it was a mega concert’
Meanwhile, Padang Kota was a sea of faces, with tens of thousands who turned up at the venue to join Pakatan’s last rally before nomination day tomorrow.
Caretaker Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng jested that he thought he stumbled onto a concert when he came to the venue and saw the “amazing crowd”.
“I though it was a mega concert and tried to figure out who are the invited singers,” he said.
“Then I found out that this is not a mega concert, what we have here is the people’s voices.”
