SELANGOR Winds of change in the Pelabuhan Klang state seat has now painted a clear message that the area will return to Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 13th general election.

The residents in the area are thirsty for development under the BN government and were impatient to vote for BN, and this development would 'bury' Abdul Khalid Ibrahim's political career on May 5, said his challenger.

NONE Nasaruddin M Zin ( right ) who is the BN candidate for the state seat said, Abdul Khalid's failure to carry out his duties as menteri besar and state assemblyperson for Ijok had tarnished his credibility.

"He did not bring any change in Ijok as the menteri besar and then he elopes to Pelabuhan Klang. He will not win here because he is not a local.

"Who is he? Even as MB, he did not develop any area around Pelabuhan Klang," he told reporters after a 'ceramah' in Botanic Gardens, Pelabuhan Klang, last night.

Nasaruddin was confident BN would win the GE13 because the current response of the local populace, who want development under the BN government, was extraordinary.

The effort and hard work of the party machinery, he said, also helped him greatly in the GE13 campaign.

Abdul Khalid should not be too confident of his standing as the menteri besar to win over the hearts of the people of Selangor, Nasaruddin added.
