Zulkefly Mohamad Omar, the PAS candidate for the Lenggeng state seat in Negri Sembilan, was admitted to a hospital yesterday after he was believed to have suffered a stroke.
Negeri Sembilan PAS Youth chief Mohd Khairul Anuar Wafa said today Zulkefly, 49, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital in Kuala Lumpur, but he did not know which hospital it was or when he was taken to hospital.
"I was just informed that Zulkefly is in the ICU, but I am not sure which hospital it is," Khairul said when contacted.
Zulkefly is involved in a three-cornered contest for the Lenggeng seat with Ishak Ismail of the BN and Zulkifli Abdullah, an independent.
