However, Pekan, Taiping, Teluk Intan, Rompin, Sabak Bernam, Sungai Besar, Tanjong Karang, Kapar, Klang, Kota Raja, Kuala Langat, Sepang, Telok Kemang, Masjid Tanah, Kota Melaka, Pagoh, Ledang, Bakri, Muar, Parit Sulong, Ayer Hitam, Sri Gading, Batu Pahat, Pontian dan Tanjong Piai are expected to be cloudy, while Lumut and Bagan Datoh (Perak), as well as Julau, Kanowit, Mukah, Selangau, Kapit, Bintulu and Sibuti in Sarawak are expected to have rain in the morning.
In the evening, heavy rains and thunderstorms are forecast to occur in most places.
The voting hours are from 8am to 5pm.
