The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) today reiterated that the process for withdrawals was running as usual at all its branches.

“Members interested in making a withdrawal can proceed to do so,” it said, adding that applications would be processed according to members’ eligibility but subject to terms and conditions for each withdrawal scheme.

The Malaysian national pension fund was responding to rumours circulated over the Internet on the freezing of EPF withdrawals.

“The EPF wishes to advise members that the allegations are not true,” it said in a statement today.
