“Doctors have advised that both Azizan’s legs be amputated from below his knees. After discussion, both his wives, as well as his children, have agreed to follow the advice,” he said.
Jerai member of Parliament Jamil Khir Baharom, who visited Azizan at Penang Hospital earlier today, called on all Muslims to perform ‘solat hajat’ for the speedy recovery of the former menteri besar.
Also present were PAS president Hadi Awang, former Kedah menteri besar Mahadzir Khalid and former mufti of Perlis Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin.
