Hadi Ho Abdullah is named CID director
Federal police (Bukit Aman) Criminal Investigation Department (CID) deputy director Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Hadi Ho Abdullah has been promoted as its director with immediate effect.

He succeeds Mohd Bakri Mohd Zinin who is now the deputy inspector-general of police.
Hadi Ho, 59, will hold the rank of acting Commissioner of Police (CP), a statement from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) said today.
The statement also announced the following appointments;
Perak Special Branch head Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) Mohd Ab Rahman Harun has been appointed as PDRM’s special officer to Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Jamaludin Ibrahim, deputy secretary NKRA Division, Home Ministry, has been appointed as commander of Bukit Aman’s Special Action Unit with the rank of SAC.
Kajang deputy police chief Supt Azman Ayob has been promoted as Muar police chief with the rank of acting ACP.
Commanding officer, Pengkalan Chepa General Operations Force (GOF), South-East Brigade, Supt Rooslan Radzi has been appointed as Selangor deputy CID chief (Intelligence/Operations) with the rank of acting ACP.
Bukit Aman Narcotics Investigation Deparment assistant director (Technical/Surveillance) Supt Ab Rahman Nawi has been appointed as assistant director of intelligence of Zone 1 of the same department, also with the rank of acting ACP.
The statement added that the appointments had received the approval of the Police Commission.
