Two individuals - who are among those wanted in a case for allegedly insulting Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah - have yesterday surrendered themselves at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

According to a police spokesperson, the two individuals - a man and a woman in their 30s - have had their statements taken.

NONE It is understood that they had been accompanied by a lawyer when they surrendered at 3pm yesterday.

    

Last Saturday, a Facebook account using the name of one Melissa Gooi was alleged to have issued statements insulting the speech of Tuanku Abdul Halim, along with several other comments uploaded to the social media platform which supposedly insulted the Agong.

A 32-year-old woman was detained three days ago (June 4) in the Ampang area, in connection with the case. Four other individuals were also being hunted by police on the case.
