YOURSAY 'Dear Wan Ahmad, why o why thou so speak? The utterances diminish the credibility of EC no less and thou gets mud all over.'

EC: Swearing in lawmakers shows Pakatan hypocrisy

your say Fair&Just: Election Commission deputy chief Wan Ahmad Wan Omar, by making the statement attacking Pakatan Rakyat, you have shown to the whole world that you are not fit to serve in the EC.

You have irrevocably, indisputably, irrefutably and undeniably shown to be very bias and prejudicial in your work. Your job is to ensure fair, just, clean and transparent elections and not to side with any party.

Your comment against the opposition has proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that it is untenable for you to be in EC and must resign immediately.

Justicepls: Why is the EC deputy chief speaking like a politician? Has he forgotten that he is a civil servant, and one who should be impartial in carrying out his job? Instead he speaks like a BN representative.

Prof: Dear Wan Ahmad, why o why thou so speak? The utterances diminish the credibility of EC no less and thou gets mud all over.

Simply, I only wish that Malaysian officials exhibit an ounce of critical thinking skills; and I am hoping I am not asking for too much.

It seems that everyone in authority in Malaysia are so very eager to get their 15 minutes of fame even at the expense of the organisation they represent. EC, in my mind, should stay above the political fray.

The bottom line is this: Wan Ahmad's utterances gives credence to those who claim that EC is biased towards the BN.

Thequest: EC deputy chief, let it be known that it is none of your business to make political statements. You have already created enough problems for the country.

Zambri Mahmud: Wan Ahmad is a public servant - his salary is paid by the commission, which draws its fund from the Treasury. What right has he got to criticise those elected by the rakyat?

If he wants to speak freely, then resign and join a political party or NGO of his choice. If not, just shut up and do your work as a public servant. Indeed, he has big mouth, much bigger than his boss.

Gen2: EC confirms its place in the list of discredited agencies by slinging mud instead of concentrating on doing its job diligently.

We know that it is stock in trade for politicians to sling mud at one another, but for EC to join in the mud pit shows the kind of stuff their heads are made of.

Hibiscus: The EC deputy chairman, if he is wise, should resign while there is still some fragments of dignity left for him.

All over the country, the Black 505 protest rallies have seen overwhelming support even though there have been threats of arrest from the police.

The rakyat who protest the alleged election fraud are thinking people, who can think for themselves and not follow Pakatan Rakyat leaders blindly.

To say the Pakatan leaders are using the people is an insult to the intelligence of the people who protest.

Little Buddha: All political parties have their own laws, rules and regulation to adhere to. No one is above the existing law. Laws are meant to be followed and not broken.

If we do that, then we are no different from BN. Do not set a very dangerous precedent for the future when Pakatan eventually takes government.

Anonymous #85701391: Is this Wan Ahmad a public servant with his salary/benefits paid by us, Malaysian taxpayers, or by Umno and its cronies?

Wan Ahmad, if you are as courageous as your mouth, just quit and get Umno to appoint you as senator, then you will have a proper platform to blast the opposition till kingdom comes.

Right now, you are just a public servant, so perform according to your job specifications. Lying, cheating Malaysians and insulting elected representatives to our Parliament is not your job.

Onyourtoes: Wan Ahmad, you are the deputy chairperson of EC but you keep labelling the opposition leaders hypocrites. By doing that, what does that make you - a stooge of Umno-BN?

Please think first before you make more stupid statements. It is not your job to quarrel with the opposition. Your job is to act impartially and do your job quietly even though you are being accused of many things.

If you can't stand the heat, please quit. I am sure there are many others more qualified and impartial than you who can do better.

Versey: I wonder if Wan Ahmad realises that his performance made him appears like a fool in the eyes of the world and brings shame to all Malaysians as if we are so stupid to withstand such crap from someone who is supposed to be neutral in his position.

His utterances is a dead giveaway of the credibility and legitimacy of the newly 'elected' government.

Anonymous_40f4: This clown and his boss were selected by BN to head the EC because they took oath that they will forever be beholden to Umno. They know nothing about conducting free and fair elections.

It should have been mandatory for them to attend a class to learn about free and fair elections. They should have also been sent to observe elections in places like India and learn things from the very independent EC over there.

The EC of India or Indonesia will be very willing to teach EC chief Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof and Wan Ahmad how to conduct free and fair elections.

Anonymous_40ca: When a wise king appoints his servants to be neutral as to ensure a fair election, it would be most inappropriate for its servants to accuse the opposition of hypocrisy, as it shows the lack of wisdom of its servants.

Wan Ahmad speaks like 223rd MP
