The Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival (Putrajaya Floria) 2013 at the Waterfront, Precinct 2 here, is still open to visitors despite the hazy condition.

Putrajaya Corporation, in a statement here today, said all visitors would be given free face masks upon arrival at the main entrance.

"For their conveniences and comfort, the visitors can opt to proceed to the festival's main attraction, which is at the Floria Pavilion, as it is held in a fully air-conditioned building," the statement said.

Putrajaya Floria, which began on June 22  and will end on June 30, is open to the public from 9am to 10pm from Monday to Thursday and from 9am till midnight from Friday to Sunday.

A source from the Health Ministry's haze operation room reported that as at 7am, the Air Pollutant Index (API) in Putrajaya registered unhealthy reading of 155, the statement said.
