Johor gov't urges Chinese to take up survey
The Chinese community in Johor are urged to participate in a survey called " Suara Hati Johor " to find out the wishes and expectations of the people and be highlighted in the government's policy.
The Chinese community in Johor are urged to participate in a survey called " Suara Hati Johor " to find out the wishes and expectations of the people and be highlighted in the government's policy.
"The participation of the Chinese community is less encouraging although the survey was launched last month. Everyone should take the opportunity to be involved because after this, there should no be parties questioning the government as we have provided the platform," said Tourism, Trade and Consumer Affairs committee chairperson Tee Siew Kiong.
The public can participate in the survey and express their views online [click here ], Tee told reporters after launching a Chinese calligraphy art exhibition at the Tiong Hua Federal Complex, Johor Baharu.
In another development, Tee said chicken prices were under control and a price control committee was set up to monitor 15 essential items during this festive season, including poultry.
