your say Heavenly King: Pascal Najadi is right in deciding not to come to Malaysia to assist the police in investigations before the killer of his father, Ambank founder Hussain Ahmad Najadi, is caught and sentenced.

The plot is thick because a very large estate is at stake. Who knows who are involved? Look at the case of murdered Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Anonymous 007: Pascal Najadi, don't waste your time coming back. They have the photo of the suspect, so let the police get hold of the suspect. Why do you have to come back?

ZZZ: About Pascal ‘coming back' to Malaysia, I think he holds Swiss citizenship right? So what's all this about him ‘coming back' about? Dutiful son angle aside, do our police have the authority to ask a foreigner to "come back?"

Peacemaker: Doesn't the Kuala Lumpur police chief know that he cannot "want" the dead man's son to come here? Didn't his mother ever teach him to ask nicely? The son is not under investigation and he is not a Malaysian.

What4: It's so easy with modern communication technology to talk to the son. Asking him to come back to Kuala Lumpur should have been kept a secret. Why did the police chief announce it publicly to the press?

If he doesn't want to come, just send two officers to Russia to get statements from him.

The Stig: Doesn't the KL police chief Mohmad Salleh know that there is such a thing as video conferencing? An interview can be conducted through that channel just as effectively.

Why insist that he come to Malaysia when it is totally understandable that he has safety concerns? Unless the police need to staple, beat up and burn people with cigarettes while conducting the interview?

Damntlwbn: I agree that Pascal shouldn't come back. They will lock him up instead and he may end up dead in custody. But with his dollars ... maybe it will be different. This is how far gone the Malaysian police are.

Lie2me: The police say they "...confiscate weapons nationwide almost on a daily basis...". Oh my god, where are these weapons coming from? Are we in danger? Sounds like war.

Unoi2005: There must be reasons why Hussain Ahmad was shot and murdered. Otherwise why did it happen? It costs a lot of ringgit to carry out assassinations by hired killers. The 'killer' must be damned mad with him for whatever reason.

SS Dhaliwal: There is so much publicity over high profile cases but what about the shooting murders of lower profile cases involving lorry drivers and lesser-known people? Don't these people deserve not less than a 100 percent effort in seeking justice for them as well?

Fairnsquare: With the sudden rise in shootings in the country, it is quite apparent that there is a 'killer for hire' syndicate in the country. Death sentences for anyone caught with a gun must be strictly enforced. Urgent efforts must be taken against the syndicates of hired assassins operating in the country.

It's more like guns are being brought into the country and used daily.

Neutral Stance: The police have got a poor reputation and this Pascal is using it as an excuse not to come to Malaysia to assist in his father's murder. The police should place more emphasis on security work rather than being stooges for politicians.

Abasir: I just think it's rather strange the son never came back to attend the funeral of his father. What kind of son would do that? Citing fear of being harmed or killed is a little hard to believe.

M Y Kee: The father is dead, and the son is not coming back? Something is definitely not right. Giving "safety concerns" as an excuse is plain bull.

ACR: No worthy son would give his safety as an excuse not to aid in his father's murder investigation. Is he aware of some threat to his safety here?

Toonarmy: It goes without saying that Pascal better have his insurance in place before agreeing to come over. Besides hired killers roaming our streets, if he says something that police doesn't agree with and they detain him, we all know what can happen to a detainee in police custody.
