Between 80,000 and 100,000 visitors are expected to turn up for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house hosted by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and the cabinet ministers at the Seri Perdana Complex in Putrajaya on the first day of Hari Raya.

The open house coordinator, who is the prime minister's private secretary, Mohd Po’ad Jelani said the guests would be served an array of local dishes at the function from 10.30am to 4pm.

"All are invited to celebrate Aidilfitri, meet and greet the prime Mminister, his wife Rosmah Mansor, and the cabinet ministers in the spirit of 1Malaysia," he told reporters after checking on the last minute preparations for the function in Putrajaya today.

Mohd Po’ad advised people to park their cars at Putrajaya Sentral, Laman Perdana 1Malaysia and Masjid Putra and take the Nadi Putra free bus service, which runs at 15-minute intervals, to Seri Perdana.
