KL shares close lower on Syria fears
Bursa Malaysia closed lower today, weighed down by losses in index-linked counters.
The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) fell 15.07 points, or 0.88 per cent, to close at 1,686.17, with the key index moving between 1,689.68 and 1,660.39.

Affin Investment Bank Vice President/Head of Retail Research Dr Nazri Khan said the weak market sentiment was dragged down by the geopolitical tension in Syria as well as the rising oil prices.
"This situation is not good as it will lead to the instability in global oil supply as well as transportation issue," he told Bernama .
Support level for the market would be at the 1,650-level, said Nazri.
Asian markets were also lower today, with Japan's Nikkei 225 falling 1.51 percent to 13,338.46, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index eased 1.60 percent to 21,524.65 and Singapore's Straits Times Index fell 0.76 percent to 3,010.89.
