Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (Litrak) is to provide toll-free travel for motorists on the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) in conjunction with the 56th National Day on Saturday.

Konsortium Lebuhraya Utara-Timur Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd (Kesturi) is to provide a 10 percent discount for motorists travelling on the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (Duke).

Litrak group chief executive officer Sazally Saidi said the toll-free travel on the LDP would be for 24 hours from 12.01am to midnight on Saturday, Aug 31, at all the four toll plazas on the expressway.

As for the Sprint Highway, a discount of 20 sen would be given to all classes of vehicles on National Day, he told reporters after the Litrak Aidilfitri open house in Kuala Lumpur.

Kesturi general manager (operations) Ong Chee Keong said the 10 percent discount at the three toll plazas on the Duke would be from 11.59 pm on Aug 30 to midnight of the following day.

He also said that Kesturi would collaborate with Touch n Go Sdn Bhd to sell the Touch n Go card at a special price of RM10 each, with RM5 credit, at the Sentul toll plaza.
