YOURSAY 'Najib keeps announcing bumiputera policies for then, now and forever... but has never openly announced any non-bumiputera policies..'

Najib showers post GE rewards on bumiputera

your say Hwin: With all these handouts Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak announced in his bumi plan yesterday, the Malays better be richer than the non-Malays by the next general election, otherwise BN should be ashamed.

Sad Malaysian: More than 70 percent of (Swedish furniture maker) Ikea's customers are bumiputeras. Who says bumiputeras are lame and poor? Najib is looking down on the bumiputeras.

UMNOsyaitan: How stupid can they get? The government-linked companies (GLCs) have close to 100 percent bumiputera employees and all these years Umno has been preaching they are helping the Malays. Do you see the standard of living of the Malays improving with all this?

Horsekiller: Bumiputera = to Umnoputra... Haven't we heard enough of all these? Those non-Umnoputra will not benefit anything, except the BN.

Anonymous #33877536: What happened to the 1Malaysia, Mr PM? You keep announcing bumiputera policies for then, now and forever. We have never heard you openly announce non-bumiputera policies. Aren't you PM for all races in the country?

The non-bumiputeras too voted for you and you should also be kind to them. Very sad to hear this one-sided announcement from my PM.

Chandran Siva: Progressing towards destruction of the national economy at the expense of non-Malay taxpayers' money. Just to survive another five years digging your own grave.

AnakJohor1920: Najib in protecting his selfish political interest as PM for Umno Malays has just unmasked bad racist policies and is trying to outdo Mamakutty's past racist policies. With this direction set for "then, now and forever" as Najib has publicly stated, our PM has officially proclaimed himself to the world as the official racist PM for the Malays only.

How shameful we have such a racist PM that instead of helping the majority Malays to always work hard and to learn the skill of how to fish for their own future, he has worsened the situation by giving out handouts or "fishes" freely, thus forcing the Malays to be weak minded and always be dependent on the government for more positions and more contracts, even though they may not be ready for such positions and may not be qualified for such benefits yet.

The ultimate result will be unimaginable, massive under-performance and incompetence in all sectors and industries. This is the heavy price and destruction that the future generations will have to bear.

Anthony Chan: It's just the same old thing. Only now, he and they dare to implement the racist policies more openly.

CHKS: Najib and company are pitching one race against another rather, than uniting different races. Yes, true, by doing so, you may seem to win the hearts of the Malays and frighten the Chinese.

But by doing so, you further polarise the races, and in the end, without the support and contribution from other races, the Malays are losing out.

Trust me, the Chinese are a resilient race. Many of us will rise up and leave Malaysia. You can have a 100 percent Malay population in Malaysia in another 10 to 20 years and where will Malaysia stand then?

SenyumUnta: The root problem of our system is that only one Malay political party with a three million membership out of 27 million citizens can solely decide who will be the next PM of Malaysia. Now they are all full fledged ministers, DPM and PM of the Malays until Umno elections. It is all about positioning oneself for election.

Bamboo: With pampering and crutches for the bumiputeras, Malaysia will not progress. As it is, the low quality of education has produced many unemployable graduates and we are slowly been overtaken by less developed countries. Guess those who have been pampered will not pull up their socks to earn their own keep until the oil money sustaining their freebies mentality runs out.

Dalvik: "The prime minister repeatedly pointed out that the 'bumiputera' he meant included those in the two Borneo states." For a person who has just undone what he tried to preach on "1Malaysia" in the past few years, I will take that statement as a pinch of salt.

To prove my statement: How likely will BN give business to the bumiputeras in the Borneo states, when it has failed to improve infrastructures there to be on par with Peninsular Malaysia (in the past half century)?

TakeMiddlepath: 1Malaysia??? Najib forgets the 1Malaysia he has been talking about. Memory lost, so now become 1Malay instead. Go ahead and implement it and we will see where you all are heading in another four or five years.

Hleng: In PM's picture for tomorrow, there are only bumiputeras, especially Malays. As the fourth generation on this land, I have to rethink my whereabouts and that of my children's.

ODIN: This should not come as a surprise. Remember who was it who said that he would drench his keris with Chinese blood? Najib has never intended to honour his promises, never realise his 1Malaysia concept, never everything else. He is a fake, a liar, a deceiver, a being with no principle, no integrity, no morals, no nothing.

I wouldn't even want to step on his picture, for in doing so the soles of my footwear would be dirtied. By the way, by ‘bumiputera', he meant ‘Malays and Muslims'.

The non-Muslim Orang Asli in Malaya, and the Orang Asal in Sabah and Sarawak, officially also said to be bumiputeras, will as usual be ignored. These are third class bumiputeras.

TingTing: Whatever is implemented will be for the mamak, pendatang Bangaladeshis very soon. Mana ada Melayu jati lagi (Where are the genuine Malays any more)?

Mushiro: These are steps that will further bring down our education standards, destroy the economy and chase away foreign and even local investors.

Aobk84: If all these 2,000 students studied harder and were not spoon fed by this government, they can grow up without needing the help of the government to ensure top posts in companies. This move by the government will only be further detrimental to the Malays.

Banzai: Hello MCA, MIC, Gerakan and other non-Malay political parties: are you dumb or deaf? Have you got any dignity left to remain in BN when you are treated like pariahs?

Kua Kia Huwa: Najib (PM for Malays only) is doing this for his survival. The Umno Baru AGM is coming up soon. Muhyiddin Yassin is preparing another strategy backed by Mamak to become the PM. Let them fight and we will see the fun.

Either one will still be PM for the Malays only. The other partners in BN should give some serious thought for the survival of the non-Malays in this country. The solution is to 'get out of BN' and join Pakatan Rakyat.

Kairos: So the racial divide is deepened and broadened by no other person than the PM himself. Does it mean now that everything is now about the Malay bumiputeras and none else?

If this is the message that the PM wants to send to us, then so be it. Not only has he lost our respect and allegiance to him as our national leader, he has also gone down in Malaysian history as the most blatantly racist PM we ever had.

All his talk of national reconciliation, moderation and 1Malaysia are all excrement and has just been flushed down the toilet. I hope the bumiputeras of East Malaysia are hearing all this and will not be stupid enough to continue to vote for BN. Never before have the non-Malays felt more second class as now.

Samurai: Najib has done Mahathir proud. Now we know why the petrol price hike and GST hints were all timed as such, made after GE, and just before this massive dose of amnesia that this huge opium pill of a plan is apparently going to inject on the poor suffering bumiputera.

Meanwhile the rest of us non-bumi can bear the pain without any anaesthetic. As usual, as in the past 50 years.

Doc: Ahhhh! It's that time of the year when Umno's AGM is around the corner and Umno politicians will play the ultra-Malay or Malay saviour role. All ‘sandiwara' only.
