your say NNFC: Actually, to set it right, I would think any rational person would conclude that Bersih was trying to prevent any particular party from destroying the nation, and many would also conclude Umno was the one destroying the nation. What is the rationale for Umno secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor (Ku Nan) to asking about the funding of the electoral reform NGO? Is Umno transparent about its funding?

James1067: Tengku Adnan, it is our debts and massive corruption that is and will destroy this nation. The enemies are within hacking away at the pillars that had held this nation up for so long. The facts are there for the people to see - that the pillars of relationship, religious tolerance, financial stability, justice, education and so many others have already been compromised. They are already shaky.

The truth is that if the same question is put to you and your colleagues of where their finances are coming from, you can be assured that they cannot give an honest reply.

Anticommunalist: Ku Nan, please list out Umno's entire assets in the country and furnish a detailed accounting of how Umno has managed to purchase all these assets. All financial donors must be listed for the public to see. If Ku Nan can prove that there is no financial link to the government coffers, only then can he talk big about others.

Senior: Bersih must account for its funds, but in the case of Umno Baru, there is no need to do so, even if its funding comes in cash, in a suitcase , or if it’s an apolitical contribution, even if its source is unknown, it's all right.

And now you're picking and questioning Bersih co-chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan  - demanding to know Bersih’s source of funds. Why don't you set an example - be transparent and declare your assets, wealth and hefty source of income to the public, may we ask?

Just because you're fortunate to be ‘in power’, hiding beneath Umno, does not entitle you to throw your weight around, and at anybody. Adnan, you're just being lucky to get where you are today. Had there been a clean and fair election - and based on meritocracy and voters choice, you would have been gone by now.

It is my way: The real traitors who are destroying our country are some of the corrupted "leaders". They are the ones should be uprooted from the Malaysian soil first. However, we cannot do it as there are no single island in the world to accommodate them. If we do they might even sink the island and swim back to the mainland.

Open minded: Don't slap your own face by asking real stupid and self damaging questions. You have already exhibited a mentality of a child just learning the rudiments of life and with statements like this perhaps Umno leaders who have the same capacity to think will accept it but not us. Empty vessels make the most noise.

HC: To all Umno politicians, where exactly does your money, properties, income, overseas holidays and children's overseas education expenses come from? The fact is that most people can't help but question where you've acquired your wealth from as you can barely hide your extensively opulent lifestyles.

Intolerance of other faiths has never reach such high insensitivity. Corruption sky-rocketed. Crime rates spiral. Lies abound. Cheating in polls is second to nature for BN.

The national debt level has reached exorbitant numbers. EPF collection indiscriminately abused by government-linked companies (GLCs), national oil and gas company Petronas reserves plundered, and government land awarded to cronies without tenders, while education has gone to the dogs. Is there anything left for Bersih, other NGOs and your perceived foreign party to decimate and interfere further ?

Tholu: Corrupt politicians, being used to living a public and private lives with ill-gotten money will never be able to see and believe that things can be done with untainted and clean money.

CiViC: What does it matter where the money comes from? We have more important issues at hand. If Ku Nan can't answer, just keep quiet and don't simply throw unfounded and unrelated allegations about. However, while he is at it, maybe he can clarify where does Umno's money come from?
